ActiveFence is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Demand Generation to lead our growth engine. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel demand generation strategy to build a robust sales pipeline. You will own our demand generation efforts from top to bottom, shaping the programs that drive awareness, generate high-quality leads, and contribute directly to our revenue goals. This is a key leadership role in the marketing organization with a significant opportunity for impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and optimize a comprehensive demand generation strategy across all marketing channels, including digital advertising, SEO/AIEO, email marketing, content syndication, and events.
- Drive revenue growth through industry leading campaigns.
- Manage the demand generation budget, ensuring marketing spend is allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations leadership to ensure strong alignment on lead quality, volume, and follow-up processes.
- Analyze and report on campaign and channel performance to the marketing leadership and executive team, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Oversee our marketing technology stack, ensuring our systems are optimized for lead capture, nurturing, and reporting.
- Manage and collaborate closely with third party agencies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, preferably within SaaS, B2B businesses.
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable pipeline growth.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing channels and tactics.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
