About the Role: Research & Incubation Focus

ActiveFence is seeking a Director to lead a dedicated Research Group focused on transforming cutting-edge AI safety and evaluation methodologies into scalable, repeatable offerings. This role is a unique blend of research leadership, entrepreneurship, and deep technical execution, with a mandate dedicated to incubating projects from zero to one.

You will serve as the internal and external expert driving our capability in agentic system evaluations and red teaming. Your primary responsibility is to translate theoretical research and bespoke service insights into structured, automated data products that are ready for deployment to Fortune 500 clients.

Core Responsibilities

Research & Incubation

Spearhead Greenfield Initiatives (from zero to one) to productize bespoke expertise. Launch successful POCs to validate market fit and technical feasibility. Work closely with Fortune 500 companies.

Agentic Evals & Red Teaming

Design/build scalable Agentic Evaluation Frameworks (LLM/multi-agent). Productize Red Teaming workflows into structured, data-driven solutions.

Automation

Leverage Prompt Engineering and LLM-driven Automation to scale adversarial evaluation.

• Proven ability to launch and scale solutions from research/consulting (entrepreneurial mindset).
• Expertise in AI Safety and security, Red Teaming of GenAI apps and Agents (fine-tune models by preference data, generate evaluation sets, etc)
• Deep technical skills: LLM-driven Automation, Data Engineering.
• Proficiency: LangChain, Python, Databricks (or equivalent).
• Must engage with clients and senior stakeholders to validate advanced offerings.
• A Plus: OSINT experience, data collection projects, and intelligence background
