Role Description
The Head of Marketing at FormX is a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Fracisco bay area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for defining and executing the overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, demand generation, and go-to-market plans across key markets. Day-to-day activities include leading market planning efforts, overseeing integrated campaigns, managing the marketing funnel, and closely collaborating with Sales, Product, and Leadership to align on growth objectives.
The Head of Marketing will supervise and mentor the marketing team, manage agency and vendor relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across digital, offline, and PR channels. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, optimizing budgets, and leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic marketing leadership experience, including Marketing Management and Market Planning, with a track record of building and scaling marketing functions.
- Expertise in Market Research, including customer insights, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience collaborating with Sales teams to support pipeline generation, revenue growth, and go-to-market alignment.
- Background in Public Relations, including media outreach, thought leadership, and reputation management.
- Experience in B2C technology, construction tech, proptech, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Experience in high-ticket item marketing and affluent clients.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams, manage budgets, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in modern marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
