About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the front-end layer of our platform. You’ll own the UI architecture, drive the design system, and build the real-time interactive interfaces that CNC programmers use daily. This is a technical lead role, you’ll set front-end standards, mentor developers, and be hands-on building complex UI components in Phoenix LiveView.

What You’ll Do

• Own the front-end architecture of the LimitlessCNC platform, LiveView components, design system, and UI patterns
• Build real-time interactive UIs
• Drive the design system using Tailwind CSS, DaisyUI, and Phoenix Storybook, ensuring consistency and quality across the product
• Collaborate with the integrations team on WebSocket-based CAD/CAM plugin bridges
• Work with the Python AI node team on API contracts and user-facing AI interaction flows
• Set front-end standards: accessibility, performance, component patterns, and testing practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers on front-end architecture and LiveView best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web applications with strong front-end skills
• Experience with server-rendered reactive frameworks: React, Phoenix LiveView, Hotwire, Blazor, or similar
• Experience with backend frameworks: Rails, Django, Laravel, ASP.NET MVC, Express, Next.js
• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern design systems (Tailwind or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of WebSocket-based real-time UIs
• Experience with component architecture, state management, and design patterns
• Ability to work in a polyglot environment, primary stack is Elixir/Phoenix, but you’ll interface with Python and C#

Bonus

• Experience with Elixir/Phoenix and OTP
• Experience with 3D visualization in the browser (Three.js, WebGL, or similar)
• Background in developer tools, CAD software, or technical product UIs
• Experience with DaisyUI, Salad UI, or similar component libraries
• Familiarity with the BEAM ecosystem (Erlang, processes, supervision trees)
