We are looking for a Legal Operations Intern to join our legal team. This is a unique opportunity for a law student to gain hands-on experience working in a cutting-edge legal environment at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation. This non-attorney role is ideal for students looking to build a strong foundation in legal operations, compliance, and tech law while contributing meaningfully to Navina’s mission.

This is a part-time, paid internship with flexible hours and hybrid work options.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Assist with legal research, summarize key regulations, and create internal work documents and process guides.
  • Assist with implementing our compliance framework.
  • Support the legal team in global tech procurement processes, helping manage contracts, vendor reviews, and compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing legal operations projects and assist with special initiatives and administrative tasks including documentation and organization projects.

Requirements

  • A law student at a leading academic institution, with at least 18 months remaining before the Bar internship.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills, and comfortable taking on technical or operational tasks to support cross-functional projects.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and passionate about technology and innovation.
  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal.
  • Excited by startup culture and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experienced in a professional or work-study environment (1+ year preferred).
  • Extra credit for interest or background in privacy and tech law, but not required.
