We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the outgoing quality of our multi-disciplinary products meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations. This role involves meticulous attention to details, comprehensive product understanding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards.

The Quality Control Engineer will play a crucial role in upholding and enhancing the quality of our multi-disciplinary products. This includes conducting thorough inspections at subcontractors’ sites, collaborating with various teams, maintaining detailed documentation, and continuously improving processes. The scope extends to ensuring that outgoing products meet or exceed industry standards, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and the company’s reputation for excellence.

Your day to day will include:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans for multi-disciplinary products
  • Conduct thorough inspections, at subcontractors’ premises, of in-process and outgoing products to identify defects or deviations
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and requirements
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and verify implementation of corrective actions and engineering changes
  • Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards
  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken
  • Generate comprehensive reports for management review, highlighting areas of improvement and success
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall product quality
  • Stay informed of industry trends and standards to implement best practices

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a multi-disciplinary product environment
  • Ability to work independently at subcontractors’ premises while effectively representing the company’s interests
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations, such as IPC-610, IPC-620, ISO9001, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree / Practical engineer in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, quality engineering or related disciplines (or equivalent experience)
