As the Backend Team Lead, you will be a crucial part of our R&D group, leading the team responsible for creating cutting-edge tools and infrastructure that empower NoTraffic developers to deliver high-quality products at maximum velocity. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects, drive innovation, and mentor a talented team.

Your day to day will include:

  • Lead a team of software engineers to build our backend systems that accelerate NoTraffic’s software development process and enhance quality.
  • Apply best engineering principles, ensuring the highest standards of design and delivery.
  • Create and execute detailed work plans while maintaining effective delivery.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, and support the professional growth of your team members.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, team leaders, architects, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Promote curiosity and continuous learning, staying updated on and evaluating new technologies.

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of managerial experience, including hands-on development.
  • 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in Python
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Expertise in CI/CD concepts and their implementations.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining large-scale production systems with public cloud providers such as AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes principles with hands-on experience.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
