About the role
As the Director of Sales at Opmed.ai, you will play a pivotal role in driving rapid revenue growth by cultivating a pipeline of sales leads. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and nurturing relationships with new prospects, as well as maintaining and strengthening connections with existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers through strategic outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Manage inbound leads, ensuring prompt follow-up and conversion opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and assist contract negotiations to facilitate deal closures.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to optimize lead generation efforts.
- Continuously identify and pursue opportunities for upselling to existing clients.
- Ensure smooth handover of customers to the Customer Experience Team post-sale, facilitating a seamless transition and fostering long-term satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with company objectives, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales quota.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales, with 5+ years of experience in healthcare, ideally selling to providers.
- Experience working in a startup is strongly preferred
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish credibility with c-suite stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting presentations and product demonstrations
- Excellent communication both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a passion for driving revenue growth and exceeding expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
