Opmed is hiring a Senior Implementation Manager to lead the deployment of our platform at
client sites. You'll be the single point of accountability for each implementation - from kickoff
through go-live making sure we deliver on time, on budget, and in a way that sets our clients up
for long-term success. You'll drive requirements gathering, manage timelines and milestones,
coordinate across internal and client teams, and ensure every moving piece (including technical
integration) stays on track.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for each client: kickoff, requirements discovery, workflow design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-launch stabilization
Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders during implementation, building trust and managing expectations
Gather and document client requirements, clinical workflows, data needs, user roles, and operational constraints
Build and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, timelines, and resource allocation; track and report on progress
Coordinate across internal teams (Product, Engineering, Integration, Support) to ensure deliverables are met
Work closely with our Integration Engineers to ensure data connectivity milestones are aligned with the broader implementation plan
Manage project budgets and flag risks or scope changes early
Set up and facilitate regular status meetings with clients and internal teams
Develop and refine Opmed's implementation methodology, templates, and playbooks as we scale
Identify patterns across implementations to feed back into product improvements

Must-Have Skills

7+ years of experience managing software implementations in healthcare, healthtech, or health IT
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations (hospital, surgical center, or clinic settings)
Experience working with EHR systems and understanding of how clinical software fits into a health system's technology stack
Excellent communication skills - able to run executive-level status meetings, translate between technical and clinical teams, and manage difficult conversations
Highly organized with strong project management fundamentals (milestone tracking, risk management, dependency mapping)
Comfortable working directly with client IT, clinical leadership, and operations teams

Nice-to-Have

PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification
Experience with implementation tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, MS Project)
Background at a healthtech vendor implementing SaaS platforms
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) — enough to have informed conversations, not necessarily to build integrations
