We are seeking a skilled and motivated ATE Integration to join our Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Development Team supporting space-grade hardware projects. The technician will play a key role in ATE integration, verification, and production support, ensuring the highest quality standards for space products.

The role involves hands-on integration, troubleshooting, and execution of environmental qualification tests both in-house and at partner laboratories. The candidate will work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and production teams to ensure smooth deployment of test solutions and reliable approval of space hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • ATE Integration & Validation
  • Support integration of newly developed ATEs, including setup, wiring, and functional validation.
  • Execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for ATE verification and approval prior to shipment.
  • Troubleshooting & Support
  • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting of ATEs on the production line.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system related issues in the ATE’s stations.
  • Environmental Testing
  • Execute and support environmental test campaigns (thermal cycling, vibration, EMC, TVAC, etc.) in external laboratories.
  • Prepare test setups, monitor test execution, and document results.
  • General
  • Maintain accurate test records and documentation in compliance with space industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of ATE and test processes.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in test/integration roles, preferably in aerospace, defence, or high-reliability electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE systems, instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analysers, etc.), and wiring.
  • Experience with environmental/qualification testing is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities (both HW & SW aspects of test systems).
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, harness diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with space/aerospace quality standards is a plus.
  • Good communication skills to work with subcontractors, labs, and cross-functional teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight schedules.
