Description

TriEye is a deep tech company turning scientific breakthroughs into transformative sensing and electro optical capabilities. Built on cutting edge research in nanophotonics, semiconductors, and advanced optics, we develop proprietary technologies that push beyond the limits of conventional sensing, enabling systems to see, detect, understand, and act in ways that were previously impractical or impossible.

At the core of our technology is a new approach to SWIR sensing, enabled by our breakthrough CMOS based platform. But our innovation extends far beyond the sensor itself. By combining advanced semiconductor design, nanophotonics, proprietary laser and illumination technologies, computational sensing, and deep system level engineering, we create tightly integrated solutions with fundamentally new capabilities, not simply better performance or lower cost.

This full stack approach allows TriEye to rethink sensing from the physics up, translating advances at the material and device level into meaningful advantages at the system and application level.

We are looking for some exceptional talent to join our R&D team as a System Engineer.

Your Day to Day

  • Translation of Product Requirements to System Requirements
  • Definition of detailed requirements for sub-systems in a variety of domains (SW, Algo, HW, Electro-optics, Image sensor, Lasers, FW, mechanics, thermal)
  • Hands-on work with all groups in R&D, Product, PM, Quality, and Operations to ensure compliance with all system requirements
  • Plan and design system integration test scenarios and V&V process
  • Research and analysis of system limitations for coming up with the best-performing product
  • Lead risk management and DFMEA processes

Requirements

  • Self-driven, hands-on problem solver with strong technical judgment
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong technical background in electro-optics, including imaging systems, optical sensors, lasers and illumination, or related photonic technologies
  • At least 4 years of experience in multidisciplinary system engineering, with significant hands-on experience in the design, integration, characterization, and testing of electro-optical systems
  • Strong system-level understanding and hands-on experience across optics, electronics, control, embedded computing, and algorithms, including building and debugging complex multidisciplinary systems
  • Python and/or C proficiency is an advantage
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electro-Optics, or a related field. MSc/ME is preferred
