Wiliot is looking for a Field Technician Lead to join our dynamic Solutions Team in the Dallas area. This role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working independently and taking on leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining cutting-edge technology at customer sites, ensuring everything runs smoothly, troubleshooting on the go, and now leading and training a team of field technicians. If you enjoy both hands-on work and guiding others, this is the role for you.

• Track and Manage Gear: Ensure all necessary equipment is organized and ready for deployment at customer sites.
• Deploy and Set Up Equipment: Gain hands-on knowledge of Wiliot's IoT tech and ensure it’s set up correctly at customer locations.
• Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure the equipment meets expectations.
• Set Up and Break Down Tech Infrastructure: Set up temporary tech infrastructure at customer sites and assist with breakdown at the end of the job.
• Problem-Solving On-Site: Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Training and Mentoring: Lead and train new field technicians, ensuring they understand Wiliot’s technology, procedures, and best practices for successful deployments.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the field technician team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Mechanical Experience: Strong mechanical background and hands-on experience, whether from previous jobs or personal projects (e.g., working on cars, machinery).
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading or mentoring others, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
• Travel Willingness: Ability and willingness to travel frequently for site visits in the Dallas area and potentially beyond.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic computer programs and quick to learn new technologies.
• eam-Oriented: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both your team and customers.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work long hours and adjust to changing schedules when required.
