As a Senior Automation Lead at Wiliot, you will design, build, and maintain our test automation infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of availability, reliability, and quality. You’ll own the testing lifecycle end-to-end, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in strengthening both product quality and the automation ecosystem.

• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing technical guidance, reviews, and growth opportunities.
• Define and maintain Wiliot’s automation strategy, aligning with company goals and release pipelines.

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Proven experience managing automation projects across multiple frameworks and languages (TypeScript, Java, Python).
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium; backend automation using RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong technical knowledge in CI/CD, Git-based pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
• Experience integrating monitoring and reporting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, custom dashboards).
• Experience with GenAI and AI-driven testing — leveraging LLMs or custom automation accelerators.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives.
• Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a passion for scaling quality at speed.
