To support our extensive engagements and significant growth, we are looking for a VP Business Development with experience in the space industry to join our team.
What you will be doing
Lead the company's business go-to-market strategy
Identify relevant opportunities and customers
Build relationships, win deals and manage deal flows with customers on the forefront of the space industry
Have major impact on shaping the business offering of the company with a direct contribution to the product strategy
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
7+ years of proven experience in a sales or business development role in the space industry
Strong knowledge in engineering and manufacturing of space systems
Established networks of relevant contacts in the space industry.
Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication and negotiations skills
Strong leadership and proven ability to establish partnerships and penetrate new segments and accounts
Independent, motivated “doer” with a demonstrated track record of pursuing and closing complex, high-value deals
Experience working in a fast-paced international organization and managing geographically dispersed teams.
Strong understanding of satellite communication/remote sensing
Extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial and government satellite programs.
