Job Description

NoTraffic, the world’s first autonomous traffic management platform, is rapidly expanding and achieving record growth. We are seeking passionate contributors who thrive in an open and collaborative environment. Reporting to the CEO, the mission of the VP Business Development will be to lead and develop a world class sales and business development organization to drive new bookings and revenue. The VP Business Development will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and senior management team and be a key contributor to the Company’s growth initiatives and strategy.

Your day to day will include:

  • Define and execute a go-to-market strategy. Lead with best practices and processes to optimize direct and channel partner sales strategies
  • Oversee direct sales, sales operations, account management and partnerships management
  • Build, lead, and manage a high-performance sales and business development team
  • Coach and develop the sales team to autonomously execute on vision and to achieve on performance objectives
  • Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and promoting sales staff
  • Develop and implement company sales methodologies, geographies and team structure, quota and commission plans, forecasting, pricing strategies, pipeline management and reporting
  • Leverage market research to assess additional verticals for new business generation and continued expansion
  • Be accountable for results, focusing on both long- and short-term strategies; take responsibility for accurate forecasting and meeting/exceeding agreed upon sales, revenue, and expansion targets
  • Manage deal structure and strategy; optimize product offering for the market and coach the team to do so effectively


You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • 10+ years of successful sales / business development leadership with experience scaling and managing all aspects of the organization
  • Recent experience in an expansion-stage, B2B. Telematics / IoT / Telecom / mobility
  • Successful experience leading multi-region, multi-tier sales / business development teams
  • Experience creating, defining and operationalizing go-to-market strategies and managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience building and managing direct and channel sales teams selling into enterprise and / or government customers
  • Track record of success building and motivating sales and business development teams and consistent ability to deliver sales targets with high quality deal structure
