This technical role focuses on hands-on engineering, design, and analysis of photonic technologies.Responsibilities- Conduct electro-optics design, engineering, and simulation of packaging solutions.- Perform comprehensive data analysis of fabricated optical components.- Analyze and interpret optical measurement results.- Identify and document fabrication challenges.- Validate optical outputs against defined requirements.- Develop and execute optical simulations.- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams.- Prepare technical presentations and reports.- Contribute to optical design and development strategies.Technical QualificationsRequired- MSc Physics: Electro-optics or Applied Physics.- Deep understanding of: - Geometric and physical optics. - Lens and optical systems design.- Proficient in physical optical simulations.- Advanced scripting and simulation skills (Python, MATLAB).- Optical simulation expertise.- High-level mathematical capabilities.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Electro-optics laboratory experience.- Excellent collaborative and communication abilities.- Fluent English proficiency.Preferred- Experience with Zemax and/or Lumerical software.- Free-Space optics design experience.- Signal processing knowledge.- Image processing skills.- Advanced lab instrumentation experience.Skills and Attributes- Problem solver.- Critical thinker.- Innovative problem-solving approach.- Meticulous attention to technical details.- Self-motivated learning capability.- Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.- Strong documentation and communication skills.Please send your CV to: jobs@teramount.comOur address : 18 Hartom St. Har Hotzvim,Jerusalem
