Location: Jerusalem (on site)Type: Full timeReports to: Lab ManagerCompany OverviewTeramount is an innovative growth company in the field of silicon photonics packaging, solving a major obstacle for enabling the next-generation co-packaged optics solutions in AI infrastructure, Data Centers and high performance computing.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Inspection & Integration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting sensitive optical components and fibers with small tolerances. The successful candidate must exhibit a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Proficiency in using specialized tools and instruments for optical assembly is essential.What You Will Be Doing- Test and troubleshoot optical systems to detect and resolve technical issues.- Conduct visual inspections of components and assembled systems to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.- Assemble and glue optical components and fibers with high precision according to engineering drawings and specifications.- Maintain accurate records of production data, test results, and other documentation related to the assembly process.- Collaborate with design team, mechanical engineering, quality control, and production departments to ensure efficient assembly processes.- Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.- Follow strict safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.What We Need to See- High School Diploma or equivalent.- At least 3 years of experience in optical assembly or a related field.- Proficiency in using specialized hand tools, measuring instruments, and optical testing equipment.- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.- Proficiency in various MS applications.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Experience working with small tolerances and high-precision components.- Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills and precision.- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.Ways to Stand Out- Technical degree or certification in a related field.- Experience in a manufacturing environment with optical components.- Knowledge of quality control measures and procedures specific to optical assembly.- Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts during peak production times.- Experience with documentation processes in a regulated industry.- Previous experience in a similar role within the optics, photonics, or precision manufacturing industry.- Familiarity with safety procedures specific to handling sensitive optical components.- Demonstrated history of contributing to process improvements.Please send your CV to: jobs@teramount.comOur address : 18 Hartom St. Har Hotzvim,Jerusalem
