We are seeking an experienced Mechanics Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting sensitive mechanical and optical components with small tolerances. The successful candidate must exhibit a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Proficiency in using specialized tools and instruments for mechanical assembly is essential.Job Responsibilities:- Assemble and glue mechanical and optical components with high precision according to engineering drawings and specifications.- Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems to detect and resolve technical issues.- Conduct experiments through visual inspections of components and assembled systems, to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.- Maintain accurate records of production data, test results, and other documentation related to the assembly process.- Collaborate with the design team, mechanical engineering, quality control, and production departments to ensure efficient assembly processes.- Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.- Follow strict safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.Required Skills:- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications.- Proficient in using specialized hand tools, measuring instruments, and optical testing equipment.- A critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Knowledge of quality control measures and procedures, particularly in the field of optical assembly.- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent.- Technical degree or certification in a related field – an advantage.- At least 3 years of experience in mechanics assembly or a related field.- Experience working with small tolerances and high-precision components.- Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills and precision.- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines specific to handling sensitive optical components.- Willingness to work night/weekend shiftsPlease send your CV to: jobs@teramount.comLocation: Teramount Jerusalem – 18 Hartom St. Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem
